Chapter 4 The Rain forest

That morning Rachel was the first to wake. She decided to sit outside and watch the sun rise. Whilst doing this she thought, she thought about her dad and how he had guided her through everything, even through the death of her mum. A tear trickled down her soft, pink cheeks. Suddenly, Saffy came through the doorway, she quickly wiped the tear off. Saffy came and sat next to her.
“Hi, had a good sleep?”Rachel asked.
“Yes, I did. How did you sleep?” Saffy replied.
” OK, just a bit hot though.”
“Well, that’s Borneo.”
“What’s the rest of Borneo like?”
“Well, how about me and you go in the rain forest and go to the waterfall later?”
“That’ll be great!”

That afternoon Saffy and Rachel set out into the rain forest.Walking Cautiously, they swiped their way through the leaves.
“This way, and we will be there soon.” Said Saffy.
Soon enough they heard the sound of water serging down in a torrent. They ran towards it and surprisingly they saw a hippo bathing in the water. Saffy signalled that they should be quite and back up little.
They hid behind the leaves until the hippo had gone. But then…
SPLASH!!!!
They had jumped into the water, when they emerged they burst out laughing.
“This is so fun! I wish i had a waterfall in my back garden!” Rachel joked.
They splashed about for about an hour and then headed off towards the village.
